Refrigerator sensor failure
The temperature sensor in the fresh food (refrigerator) compartment is faulty.
The refrigerator may not cool correctly. The sensor and its wiring need to be checked and likely replaced by a technician.
Midea E2: NTC temperature sensor signal out of range (open or short circuit) in Refrigerator / Freezer.
The temperature sensor in the freezer compartment has failed.
The freezer's temperature regulation will be affected. This requires a service call to replace the faulty sensor.
Midea E4: Cooling circuit or defrost system anomaly in Refrigerator / Freezer; compartment temperature deviation.
The defrost sensor located on the evaporator coil is malfunctioning.
The appliance may not defrost properly, leading to ice buildup. A technician will need to test and replace the sensor.
Midea E8: Motor drive or inverter rotation anomaly in Dishwasher; drum/motor fails to spin at target RPM.
The diverter valve, which directs water to the upper and lower spray arms, is malfunctioning.
This error typically requires a service technician to inspect and replace the diverter valve motor or assembly.
Midea E9: Operational cycle fault detected during Refrigerator / Freezer program execution.
A fault has been detected with the ice maker assembly.
Check if the ice maker is turned on and that the water line is connected and not frozen. If the issue persists, the ice maker unit may need service.
Midea E10: Water inlet / filling timeout in Washing Machine; appliance fails to fill to minimum operational level.
The machine has failed to fill with water in the allotted time. This could be due to a closed water tap, kinked inlet hose, or low water pressure.
Ensure the water tap is fully open. Check the inlet hose for kinks or blockages. Clean the filter in the inlet valve.
Midea E21: Water drainage failure detected in Washing Machine; drain pump cannot evacuate water within safety time limit.
The machine has failed to drain the water within the specified time. The drain filter is likely blocked or the drain hose is kinked or positioned too high.
Clean the drain pump filter located at the bottom front of the machine. Check the drain hose for any kinks or blockages and ensure it's not higher than 100cm from the floor.
Midea E30: Door lock safety interlock fault in Washing Machine; door switch contact fails to close or open.
The door is not closed properly, or the door lock mechanism has failed.
Open the door and close it again firmly. Check for any clothing caught in the door seal. If the error persists, the door lock may need to be replaced.
Control board communication error
There is a failure in the main electronic control board (PCB).
Disconnect the oven from the power supply for 30 minutes to attempt a reset. If the error returns after reconnecting power, the control board will likely need to be replaced by a professional.
Oven temperature sensor open
The oven temperature sensor (RTD) has an open circuit, meaning it's disconnected or has failed.
The oven cannot read the internal temperature. The sensor or its wiring is faulty and requires replacement by a service technician.
Midea F4: Water/air heating failure in Washing Machine; heating circuit does not reach set temperature.
The water is not heating. The heating element has failed or there is a wiring issue.
The heating element or its connections are faulty. A service technician needs to diagnose and replace the part.
Midea F5: Water level pressure sensor/switch frequency anomaly detected in Dishwasher.
The dishwasher has detected that the water level is too low after filling.
Check that the water supply is fully open. Clean the filter screen on the water inlet hose connection.
Door lock mechanism failure
A fault has been detected with the motorized door lock, either during locking or unlocking.
Check that there are no obstructions preventing the door from closing or the lock from engaging. If clear, the lock assembly may have failed and needs service.
Midea H: Door lock safety interlock fault in Refrigerator / Freezer; door switch contact fails to close or open.
The internal temperature of a compartment is too high. This is often caused by a door being left open for an extended period or adding a large amount of warm food.
Ensure the doors are fully closed and not obstructed. Allow the appliance several hours to return to the set temperature. If the alarm continues, check door seals for damage.
Midea UE: Door lock safety interlock fault in Washing Machine; door switch contact fails to close or open.
The laundry load is unbalanced in the drum, preventing the machine from spinning safely at high speed.
Pause the cycle, open the door, and redistribute the clothes evenly inside the drum. Remove or add items to balance the load. Restart the spin cycle.
