Sekom F5: Motor drive or inverter rotation anomaly in Refrigerator / Freezer; drum/motor fails to spin at target RPM.
An issue has been detected with the automatic ice maker module, such as a motor failure or sensor error.
Check that the ice maker is turned on and the water line is connected. Inspect the module for any ice jams. The ice maker module may need to be reset or replaced.
Sekom F6: Door lock safety interlock fault in Refrigerator / Freezer; door switch contact fails to close or open.
One of the refrigerator or freezer doors has been left open for an extended period (usually over 2 minutes).
Close the door firmly. If the alarm continues with the door closed, inspect the door switch for proper operation. It may be stuck or faulty.
Compressor or Start Device Fault
The compressor is failing to start or run, possibly due to a faulty start relay, capacitor, or the compressor itself.
This is a major component failure. Listen for a 'clicking' sound from the compressor area. This repair should be performed by a qualified technician.
Evaporator (Freezer) Fan Fault
The fan that circulates cold air inside the freezer is blocked by ice or has failed electrically.
Check for ice build-up obstructing the fan blades. Defrost the unit if necessary. Test the fan motor for continuity and replace if it has failed.
Microprocessor or EEPROM Fault
An unrecoverable error has occurred on the main control board (MCU), often related to memory corruption.
Attempt a hard reset by disconnecting the appliance from power for 30 minutes. If the error returns, the main control board must be replaced.
Communication Error with Cooking Zone
The main control board cannot communicate with the sensor for a specific cooking zone.
This is an internal fault. Attempt to reset the hob by turning off the power at the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. If the error persists, it requires a service technician.
Sekom I20: Water drainage failure detected in Dishwasher; drain pump cannot evacuate water within safety time limit.
Common code (used by Electrolux group) indicating a failure to drain within the set time. Blocked filter or hose.
Clean the main drain filter. Ensure the drain hose is not kinked, blocked, or installed too low/high.
Anti-flood system activated
Common code (used by Electrolux group) indicating a water leak has been detected in the base of the machine.
Disconnect the appliance. Tip it to drain the base. Find the source of the leak and repair it before reuse.
