Boiler operation stopped, low pressure alert
System water pressure has dropped below the minimum operating level.
Increase the system pressure via the filling loop to 1.5 bar. Check the system for any visible leaks.
Problem with domestic hot water temperature
The domestic hot water (DHW) sensor (probe) is faulty or has a bad connection.
Check the connection of the DHW probe. If the connection is good, the probe will need to be tested and likely replaced.
Problem with central heating temperature
The central heating (CH) sensor (probe) is faulty or has a bad connection.
Check the connection of the CH probe. If the connection is good, the probe will need to be tested and likely replaced.
Boiler lockout related to flue safety
The flue gas temperature sensor (probe) has detected an issue or has failed.
Ensure the flue is not blocked. If the flue is clear, the sensor itself may be faulty and require replacement.
Ignition failure, boiler will not start
No gas supply, faulty ignition electrode, or blocked condensate drain.
Check gas supply is on. Inspect and clean ignition electrodes. Ensure condensate drain is clear.
Refrigerator compartment sensor fault
The temperature sensor for the fresh food section has failed.
The appliance may run continuously or not at all. The sensor needs to be replaced by a technician.
Boiler overheated and locked out
Poor water circulation, blocked pump, or faulty overheat thermostat.
Check that all radiator valves are open. Bleed radiators. Check pump operation. Reset the boiler.
Freezer compartment sensor fault
The temperature sensor for the freezer section has failed.
The freezer may over-freeze or defrost. The sensor needs to be replaced by a technician.
Atlantic E03: Water level pressure sensor/switch frequency anomaly detected in Water Heater / Boiler.
Blockage in the flue, faulty fan, or air pressure switch failure.
Check flue for obstructions. Verify fan is running. Check connections to the air pressure switch.
Dishes are still dirty and wet after cycle / Water is cold
The dishwasher is not heating the water. The cause is likely a failed heating element or a faulty NTC temperature sensor.
Use a multimeter to test the heating element for continuity. Check the resistance of the NTC sensor and inspect all related wiring for breaks or damage.
Atlantic E04: Water inlet / filling timeout in Water Heater / Boiler; appliance fails to fill to minimum operational level.
Water pressure in the heating system is too low, possibly due to a leak.
Repressurise the system using the filling loop to between 1.0 and 1.5 bar. Check for leaks.
Dishwasher has too much water inside / Overfills
The water level control system is malfunctioning. This could be a faulty pressure sensor, a blocked sensor hose, or a water inlet valve that is stuck open.
Check the pressure sensor and its connecting hose. Test the inlet valve to ensure it closes properly when power is removed. Check for excessive foaming from incorrect detergent.
The wash cycle is cold / Water does not heat up
There is a fault with the water heating system. This is usually a failed heating element or a faulty NTC temperature sensor.
Test the heating element for continuity and the NTC sensor for the correct resistance value (typically several thousand ohms at room temperature). Check wiring to both components.
The drum does not turn or spins erratically
A motor circuit fault. The most common cause is worn out carbon brushes on the motor. It can also be a faulty tacho coil on the motor or a bad connection.
Inspect the motor's carbon brushes. If they are shorter than 15mm, they should be replaced. Check all wiring connections to the motor.
Atlantic E8: Operational cycle fault detected during Refrigerator / Freezer program execution.
The sensor for the automatic ice maker is malfunctioning.
The ice maker may stop producing ice or overflow. The sensor or the entire ice maker assembly may need replacement.
Machine is dead or trips the circuit breaker
Indicates a short circuit in the motor control section (triac) of the main electronic control board.
This is a serious electronic fault. The main control board will need to be repaired by a specialist or replaced.
Atlantic E10: Water inlet / filling timeout in Washing Machine; appliance fails to fill to minimum operational level.
Water tap is closed, inlet hose is kinked, or water pressure is too low.
Ensure water supply tap is fully open. Straighten the inlet hose. Check household water pressure.
Drainage fault, water not emptying
The drain pump filter is blocked, drain hose is kinked or blocked.
Clean the drain pump filter located at the bottom of the machine. Check the drain hose for kinks.
Water is not draining or draining too slowly
Partial blockage in the drain filter or drain hose. Faulty drain pump.
Thoroughly clean the drain filter. Check the entire length of the drain hose for blockages. Inspect the drain pump impeller.
Circulation fault or pump blockage
Primary water circulation is poor. The pump may be blocked or has failed.
Check if radiator valves are open. Inspect the central heating pump for blockages or failure.
Atlantic E35: Operational cycle fault detected during Water Heater / Boiler program execution.
The boiler detects a flame even when the gas valve should be closed. Faulty gas valve or flame sensor.
This is a serious fault. Turn off the boiler and contact a certified technician immediately.
Atlantic E40: Door lock safety interlock fault in Washing Machine; door switch contact fails to close or open.
The door is not closed properly, or the door lock mechanism has failed.
Close the door firmly. Check for obstructions. If the problem persists, the door lock may need replacement.
Atlantic E61: NTC temperature sensor signal out of range (open or short circuit) in Washing Machine.
Heating element failure or a fault with the temperature sensor (NTC).
Reset the machine. If the fault continues, the heating element or NTC sensor may need to be tested and replaced by a technician.
Appliance unresponsive, communication error
Communication fault between the main control board and other electronic components.
Perform a hard reset by unplugging the appliance for 10 minutes. If the error returns, a technician is needed to diagnose the faulty board.
Communication error between boards
A communication link between the main control board and the display board has been lost.
Check wiring harnesses for loose connections. A hard reset (unplugging for 5 minutes) might help. Otherwise, one of the boards may be faulty.
Evaporator fan motor error
The fan that circulates cold air inside the freezer has failed or is blocked by ice.
Defrost the freezer to check for ice obstruction. If the fan still doesn't run, the motor needs to be replaced.
Unit is not heating or cooling
Communication error between the indoor and outdoor units.
Check the wiring between the indoor and outdoor units. Reset the system by turning off power at the breaker for 5 minutes.
System has shut down, high pressure fault
High refrigerant pressure. Outdoor unit coil is blocked/dirty, fan is not working, or system is overcharged.
Clean the outdoor unit's coil of any debris, leaves, or dirt. Ensure nothing is blocking the fan.
System has shut down, low pressure fault
Low refrigerant pressure, indicating a possible refrigerant leak or a blockage in the system.
This requires a certified HVAC technician to check for leaks and measure refrigerant charge.
No hot water or takes too long to heat
The main heating element has failed or is covered in limescale.
The heating element needs to be tested for continuity and replaced if faulty.
